It’s ok

I love my new Iron Wood XL. I have smoked 3 briskets since I purchased it and all 3 were perfectly cooked. I do wish there was a disposable insert for the pan to speed cleanup. But would not stop me from buying the Iron Wood XL

I’ve only been able to do two cooks on this due to work, but it’s been amazing. I’d recommend this grill to anyone and look forward to doing more cooks over the summer.

The smoker portion of it is perfect. It's so easy to use and cooks very well. The only issue I've had is losing connectivity with the wifi during long smokes. After 12+ hours, the Ironwood XL appears offline on the app even though the Traeger says it's connected. I went online to troubleshoot but was still not able to fix this issue. After I turn it off and back on again, it works, but I'm not restarting the traeger when I'm midway a 12+ hour smoke. I know, sounds bratty, but I paid for the feature and I'd like it to work. Other than that, this thing is amazing!

The guys at BBQ Outfitters also helped guide us through the store and helped show us the various models and pellets. Definitely going to go back for accessories.
