The Workhorse 1975 is everything it promised to be. I have smoked ribs and now my first ever brisket with it. My family and friends enjoyed it very much. My son looks forward to us cooking on the weekends. BBQ outfitter and Mike in particular have put done yourselves.

Pit works great. Two brisket cooks to date and family loved them. The 3/8” thick steel holds heat well.

We bought our 1975 wagon from Buddy at the Austin store and it was a really wonderful experience. I was surprised they had Workhorse smokers as I was looking at ordering one from the manufacturer but the wait was months. I also looked at, and really wanted, a Mill Scale 94 Gallon but for the money the 1975 has the same build quality and way more features for basically the same price. It has the wagon base so it’s very portable which allows me to take it to cookoffs or move it around the yard. Knowing what I wanted, I went up to check it out in person and Buddy came out and showed me some features I hadn’t looked at. The staff are super friendly and helpful and they were a huge help loading it up when I picked it up. I’ll definitely shop at BBQ Outfitters again as they have a huge array of products and are so helpful.
