Trash product, trash warranty, trash company.

Purchased the meater plus probe about 1.5 years ago and used it less than 10 times before it malfunctioned. Couldn’t get the charger base to turn off. It just kept blinking green. Called meater support on 11/11/24 and spoke with Priscilla. We went multiple troubleshooting steps, even connected through her company’s video chat software so she could see the probe in real time. It was later determined that a replacement was necessary. However, she could only offer a 20% discount on a replacement because this probe was out of warranty by 6 months..HOW CONVENIENT. It says on their website that they offer 2 year warranties for their EU customers so I asked for the same treatment. This was denied.

This probe cost $80 before taxes and shipping. To only last 18 months??? Horrible. I could not in good conscience throw good money after bad. The 20% discount would only cover $16. Probably just enough for shipping. Spend your money on inkbird or something else because this experience was trash.
