It works just fine, but the installation was a bit of a challenge. There is no way to install using the screws supplied without disassembling the outer shell of the egg. I did not do that. I inserted dry wall screw receptacles in the screw holes by first giving them a good coat of heat resistant caulk. Time will tell if this holds up.
